SXUK organises international seminar on Sustainable Development
To keep pace with the global concern of saving the Mother Earth for generations, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK) organised a one-day international level virtual seminar on sustainable development on November 11, 2022. The theme was ‘Sustainable Development, Public & Private Finance and Leadership’.
In his inaugural speech, Rev. Fr. Dr. John Felix Raj, SJ, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SXUK called everyone to come forward and join the noble aim of saving the Mother Earth through quality research works, plans and programmes.
The Research and Development Cell of SXUK focused on the need for promoting global collaborations towards multidisciplinary research culture through this seminar. 307 participants attended the seminar from various parts of the country. It was a delightful discourse to the attendees as eminent academicians and professionals across the country joined as resource persons.

Arockiasamy S.J., Dean, Faculty of Science, SXUK; Dr. Ronald Malicdem, Professor, Operations and IT, Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Philippines; Mr. Pier Luigi Migliorati, Deputy Head, Equities and Corporate Risk Division, Bank of Italy, Italy were distinguished resource persons.
