Award/Degree/Medals
For the award of a degree, a student must successfully complete all curriculum requirements, including passing the minimum specified courses, earning the minimum credits prescribed for their programme, satisfactorily fulfilling other academic requirements, and clearing all University dues.
For Semester Mark Sheets and Academic Transcript, instead of mentioning 1st Class or 2nd Class, only the percentage of marks, SGPA and CGPA will be shown.
Rank certificates will be issued to students who hold a position between 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their respective programmes and pass all papers on the first attempt. The absence, debarment, or failure will be considered as an attempt. Further, the Controller of Examinations will publish the names of the First 10 Rank Holders List and may issue a certificate to students who hold a position 4th to 10th on request.
The University will only award 1st Rank Holder with Gold Medal for each programme from the 8th Convocation onwards.
In case of a tie in aggregate marks, the student securing the higher CGPA will be considered for the award of the Medal.

The students who pass the examination in the Supplementary examination will not be awarded any medal or mark of distinction.
