4th Foundation day of the University
St. Xavier's University, Kolkata
celebrated its 4th Foundation Day on
Saturday, February 8, 2020. The Hon'ble
Governor of West Bengal, Shri Jagdeep
Dhankhar was the Chief-Guest and the
First Lady, Smt. Sudesh Dhankhar had
accompanied him.
The Governor congratulated the students
for being part of the Xaverian family.
He said, "You are all fortunate to study
at St. Xavier's University while I did
not have this opportunity. Make the best
use of your study here and become good
leaders of India with Xaverian values."

The alumni association of St.
Xavier's University, Kolkata namely
"St. Xavier's University Kolkata
Alumni Association (SXUKAA)" has
now been officially registered with
the Registrar of Societies.
SXUKAA has also become a member of
the Federation of Jesuit Alumni
Association of India (FOJAAI) and as
such also of World Union of Jesuit
Alumni (WUJA).

1) What is your feeling after your dream of SXUK is realized?
Its not my dream alone, it is the dream of the whole Xaverian Family, it includes the Jesuits, alumni, alumnae, the people of Kolkata, the Government, including the Honorable Chief Minister and many more.
It is a collective dream, I was there to give a lead; yes the dream has been realized, it has become a reality but the vision 2020 must now take a different shape as vision 2025, because this vision must continue. Read Full Interview...
