A Faculty Orientation Programme was held on July 2, 2018 for both, new and existing faculty. The objective of the programme was to give an idea of Jesuit Education and existing norms and culture of the University. Around twenty new teachers have joined the different departments of University in July, 2018.

Rev. Dr. Felix Raj, Vice-Chancellor, introduced the faculty to the History and philosophy of Jesuit education system. He briefed them about the vision, mission, rules and regulations of the University.

Registrar, Prof. Ashis Mitra gave an exposure to the concept of CBCS course structure given by UGC. The faculty members were also informed about the Anti ragging Regulation of UGC.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Dr. Sebasti Raj, discussed the idea of a "Model University". The day's Orientation Programme for the faculty ended with a briefing session about the departments and the academic system by respective respective Deans..
