Department of Psychology of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK) organised a five-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from June 2 to 6, 2025 on “Positive Psychology: Pathway to Mental Health.” A total of 54 participants enrolled in the FDP.

Prof. Susmita Halder, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Studies inaugurated the session with a welcome address. Dr. Moumita Mukherjee, Head of the Department of Psychology gave a briefing about the department.

Eminent resource persons from esteemed national and international institutions such as IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Tilburg University, Netherlands, and Sunway University, Malaysia enlightened participants on different topics.

Participants were from several institutions and universities of India such as NMIMS, Mumbai; UPES, Dehradun; FLAME, Pune; KIT, Bhubaneshwar; Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Jaipur; St. Andrews College of Arts, Mumbai; Central University of Rajasthan and IIT Roorkee, etc. Participants submitted the feedback and assessment forms after each session.
