SXUK imparts statistical training to its research scholars

In a bid to sharpen the statistical skills of the research scholars pursuing Ph.D. in St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK), a two-day workshop on ‘Data Analytics using R’ was jointly conducted by LCERI and Xavier Business School (XBS) on June 24 and 25, 2022 for its Ph.D. scholars.
The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Shuvendu Chakraborty, Associate Professor, XBS. The workshop introduced the fundamentals of using ‘R’ for statistical analysis. Each day, the session started at 11 am and continued upto 4 pm. Participants found the training programme highly beneficial as the same would help them a lot in quantitative analysis of data in their research work.
