New Town/Kolkata (1 June 2026): A team of eight BSW (Sem-VI) students of Union Christian College (UCC), Barapani (Umian/Shillong) accompanied by two members of their faculty visited the Department of Social Work, SXUK here today, 1 June 2026, as a part of their fieldwork educational tour-an academic requirement for degree in Social Work. The visiting students and the members of the faculty interacted with the students of MSW and the members of the faculty of Social Work, SXUK for over an hour sharing their experiences – theory and fieldwork of Social Work education. The students also visited the SXUK library, administrative and academic buildings. They were also able to meet Rev. (Dr.) Felix Raj, S.J., Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SXUK and Fr. Joseph Raj, S.J. Finance Officer, SXUK during their campus tour. SXUK community was happy to have them here.
