St. Xavier’s University Kolkata Alumni Association (SXUKAA) organised a Christmas programme on December 23, 2025 for the faculty and staff members of the university. A cultural programme took place where staff members and students of the university participated.

Rev. Dr. John Felix Raj SJ, Vice-Chancellor of SXUK and the President of SXUKAA shared his Christmas message. As a mark of their gratitude, core committee members of the SXUKAA felicitated Father Felix Raj and other Jesuit Fathers on the occasion.

The joy of the festive season was shared with the lesser privileged as Father Felix Raj handed over some winter garments to them. The alumni association hosted a high tea for all the faculty and staff members on the occasion.

In the evening, SXUKAA organised its Annual Christmas Gathering at the university campus. Eminent guests including doctors, CEOs and others apart from Jesuit fathers and other members of the Xaverian family attended the celebration.

Father Felix Raj extended a warm welcome to the guests and shared his Christmas Message. He also shared the future plans of the University. A video presentation on SXUK was shown on the occasion, apart from a cultural programme put up by the staff and students.

The celebratory mood of the evening was enhanced by a performance by Mr. Peter Gomes, followed by a sumptuous dinner.
