Xavier’s University Cultural Society (XUCAS) of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK) celebrated the XavKala 2025 in the university campus on March 29, 2025.

The grandeur of XavKala 25' was amplified by the esteemed presence of Rev. Dr. John Felix Raj, S.J., Vice-Chancellor of SXUK, Prof. Ashis Mitra, Registrar and other dignitaries.

Nearly 1000 students from different disciplines participated in the programme. The event unfolded a mesmerising symphony of dreams and creativity under the theme “KHWAAB - Asliyat Se Zara Hatkar.” The fest served a platform for artists, musicians, and performers, offering an immersive escape into a realm where imagination transcended reality.

The daylong event included various cultural activities like dance performances and musical renditions. The event also held a fashion show and a band performance which drew cheers from the audience.

The main attraction of the event was the art and craft exhibition “Xavkala Street.” The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners in various events.
