The event Sishu Sangmiloni - Virtual Children's Day Celebration has been formulated and executed by the Social Responsibility Wing (Xavier Social Responsibility) of Xavier Business School on 22nd November, 2020 under the guidance of Fr. Dr. Mourlin K. S.J. The objective of this event was to have an interactive session with the underprivileged and disadvantaged children from various NGO's by way of songs, dances, recitations and other cultural performances towards spreading a spirit of love, care and compassion among budding young minds at the different NGOs.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Manodip Ray Chaudhuri, Dean - XBS, followed by an inaugural speech by our Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Rev. Fr. Dr. John Felix Raj, S.J. Father showered the gathering with inducing words thereby creating an ambience of mutuality, compassion, enticement and inducement among all the children participating in the program.
It was remarkably pleasurable and exhilarating to witness little souls performs in front of everybody through the online platform. It was a quite an immensely big day for XBS to hold hands with all the little children for a cause, so poignant and affecting for the social community at large.
