On October, 10, 2020, Xavier Law School organised a webinar on Mental Health in collaboration with IQAC. It was an online event the platform being Google Meet. It was also streamed live in Facebook and YouTube. The webinar was open to all and around 2400 people were in attendance. The honourable Vice Chancellor of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, Rev. Fr. Dr. John Felix Raj, along the respected Registrar of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, Prof. Ashis Mitra were on hand to open the event with their valuable words. The event witnessed the extraordinary lectures from the Mental health experts, Dr. Priyanka Sharma Khanduja, Psychologist who emphasised on 'Anxiety and depression among the students in this pandemic situation' and Dr. Sanjay Garg, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist emphasised on 'Student mental health: An important element of student success'. The event came to an end with the vote of thanks by Dr. Debasis Poddar, Dean of Xavier Law School.
