Forty teachers of Raghabpur St. Paul's Higher Secondary School, under the leadership of Headmistress, Ms. Sadhana Kharali, visited St. Xavier's University, Kolkata (SXUK) on Saturday, June 18, 2022. The tour was part of their Ignatian Year celebrations. Raghabpur is a village in South 24 Parganas, 25 kms from Kolkata. SXCK has opened a rural campus at Raghabpur since 2014.

Rev. Fr. John Felix Raj, S.J. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SXUK welcomed the teachers and briefed them about the history of the University. He narrated how the University started its academic journey with a small number of students in 2017 and is gradually emerging as one of the leading academic hubs of the state.

Besides a campus tour of the university, they had attended two sessions on ‘Role of Teachers in Jesuit School and Cannonball Moment’, taken by Prof. Ashis Mitra and Fr. Mourlin K, S.J. respectively. The group enjoyed the tour and returned with memories of SXUK.
