Department of Mass Communication hosts Xphoria 5.0
The Department of Mass Communication organized its intra-departmental info-cultural program, Xphoria 5.0, on August 28, 2025 at the Fr. Albert Huart Hall for all its undergraduate and postgraduate batches. The theme for this edition was “Indie Pop – Old Melodies, New Memories.” The event was graced by Dr. Susmita Halder, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Studies and Dr. Harish Kumar, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, along with the faculty members. The programme featured a range of engaging performances and activities curated by the students. These included a skit, a recitation, cultural performances, and musical pieces. Interactive segments such as a ‘rapid-fire round’ and ‘one-minute to fame’ added a lively and spontaneous touch. The hall resonated with enthusiasm as the audience cheered and engaged with the performances, strengthening the bond within the department. Xphoria 5.0 not only delighted the students but also provided them with a platform to showcase their creativity and talent, while fostering a spirit of collaboration and togetherness. The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the department’s tradition of celebrating creativity, collaboration, and camaraderie among the students.
