St. Xavier's University, Kolkata participated in VIRAJ 2026, the annual sports fest hosted by National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack, from 19th to 23rd March 2026. A contingent of 60 students along with their coaches represented the university across various events, including Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Throwball, and Athletics. Both men's and women's teams actively participated, competing in events such as sprints, relays, shot put, and jumping disciplines.

The contingent delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament, securing Gold medals in Athletics events and showcasing exceptional sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork. The participation provided students with a valuable opportunity to represent St. Xavier's University on an inter-state platform and bring pride to the institution through their commendable achievements.
