• Dr. Subhanil Chowdhury served as a resource Person in online short-term certificate course on Data Analysis using R from 24th March 2025 to 12th April 2025 organized by Department of Economics, P. G. D. A. V. College (University of Delhi) and Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
• Dr. Subhanil Chowdhury was invited to speak in the Eastern Regional Conference for the 16 th Finance Commission at Nalanda University, Bihar on 19th June 2024.
• Dr. Subhanil Chowdhury was invited to speak in the International Seminar on Geography for Development: Economy, Society and Environmental Interactions held at the Department of Geography, Presidency University, Kolkata during 27 th -29 th January 2025.
• Dr. Subhanil Chowdhury was invited to speak in the National Seminar on The 18 th Lok Sabha Election and The Future of Indian Democracy held at the Department of Political Science, Presidency University, Kolkata on 20 th November, 2024.
• Dr. Subhanil Chowdhury has received a grant of Rs.1,40,000 from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for organizing 3 rd Annual Economics Conference in St. Xavier's University, Kolkata in academic year 2024-25.
• Dr. Chayanika Mitra has received a grant of Rs.1,40,000 from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for organizing 2 nd Annual Economics Conference in St. Xavier's University, Kolkata in academic year 2023-24.
• Dr. Chayanika Mitra has discussed a paper titled "The Double-Edged Sword: Unveiling the Impact of Women's Financial Inclusion on Intimate Partner Violence in India" at Research Scholar Workshop on Contemporary Issues in Empirical and Theoretical Economics organised by Department of Economics, Jadavpur University on 22nd and 23rd April, 2025.
• Dr. Chayanika Mitra was selected for the Summer Faculty Research Fellow (SERF- 2024) Programed in the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi).
• Dr. Sayantan Bandhu Majumder (Co-Principal Investigator) and Ms. Srijita Ghosh (Co- Principal Investigator) along with Dr. Devleena Majumdar (Principal Investigator, Victoria Institution) have successfully submitted the project report titled "Evaluation of PMUY: A Case Study of Kolkata" under Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) sponsored Short Term Empirical Research Project 2023-24.
• Dr. Poulami Chatterjee has served as a team member in the consultancy project titled "Impact Base Case Studies for Establishment of Smart Library" sponsored by New Town Kolkata Green Smart City Corporation Limited in 2023-24.
• Dr. Aparajay Kumar Singh has served as a resource person for the Research Methodology Course on "Quantitative Methods and Women Studies" organized by Centre For Women's Development Studies (CWDS) in collaboration with the Centre for Women's Studies, University of Hyderabad during 18th March – 28th, March 2024.
• Dr. Damayanti Sen has participated in an ongoing project titled Inter-State Student Mobility: A Look into the Dynamics of Indian Scenario along with Dr. Soma Sur funded by LCERI, St. Xavier's University, Kolkata.
• Dr. Chayanika Mitra has received a grant of Rs.15,00,000 from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for a project under Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Special Call for Women-Led Research on Women-Led Development, titled "From Community to Classroom: How Mother's Engagement in Self Help Groups Shapes Children's Educational Outcome: Evidence from West Bengal" in AY 2025-26.
• Dr. Poulami Chatterjee has received a grant of Rs.15,00,000 from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for a project under Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Special Call for Women-Led Research on Women-Led Development, titled "Bridging the Digital Divide: Women in STEM in West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya" in AY 2025-26.
• Dr. Sayantan Bandhu Majumder organized Five Days National Workshop on NSSO, NFHS and IHDS Data Analysis for Empirical Research Co-sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research Eastern Regional Centre from 10th – 14th November 2025.
