Dr. Sanchita Paul is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Commerce and Management at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She has qualified the CSIR-UGC NET-JRF and GATE examinations and was awarded her Ph.D. in Mathematics, specializing in Graph Theory, from Jadavpur University. She also possesses experience of post-doctoral research from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
Dr. Paul has extensive teaching experience as a full-time faculty member, guest faculty, and research scholar at several eminent institutions, including Jadavpur University, C. V. Raman Global University, Techno Main Salt Lake, Dinabandhu Andrews Institute of Technology & Management, and Sri Shikshayatan College. She has taught a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate Mathematics courses and has made significant contributions to academic and administrative, and student mentoring activities.
Alongside her dedication to teaching, Dr. Paul is deeply committed to research. Her research interests primarily lie in Graph Theory and Combinatorics. She has published several research papers in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals and Springer conference proceedings. She has also presented her research work at numerous international conferences and national seminars, including ICDM, ICAGTA, MSAST, ICAACA and ICMAAM reflecting her active engagement with the global research community.
Dr. Paul has actively participated in various workshops, seminars, and academic events, including ADMA, ICDM, GTA, and IWDG. In addition, she has attended several Faculty Development Programmes organized by AICTE, NIT Patna, and Techno Main Salt Lake, Kolkata. She firmly believes that patience, dedication, and hard work are the keys of transforming dreams into reality.
