Xavier's Commerce and Management Society (XCMS) conducted its second edition of XavUltra Talks on 6 March 2020. The endeavor is the 'terminus a quo' of a legacy' choose to inspire' which comprised of a panel of four experts in their respective fields who motivated around 400 attendees (including B.Com and BMS students) through their inciting journey. The basic concept of XavUltra Talks is to bring great minds in combination, acknowledging ideas from a different discipline and presenting them in the form of powerful talks where their 'journey is worth sharing'.
The theme for the session was 'Educate. Endure. Empower' that highlights the mode of women empowerment and celebrate the womanhood in the sense of freedom and accomplishment. The speakers of panel discussion were
Mr. Numazar D Mehta, Owner at Selvel One;
Mrs. Prochy Mehta, Director at One Ad Display;
Mrs. Richa Agarwal, CEO of Emami Art House; and
Mr. Jawhar Sircar, Chairman and Board of Governors, Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Kolkata;

Mr. Mario Martin Louis moderated the session.

Mr. Jawahar Sircar shared his views on how with changing time, technology has brought in change in perception and served the purpose.
Mrs. Richa Agarwal mentioned about how her mother has been her inspiration throughout pertaining to freedom of choice and starting with her own business.
Mrs. Prochy Mehta shared her experiences oversea and how she tackled different uncertainties in the life.
Mr. Numazar D Mehta added on gender-defining roles and how important it is to understand the true meaning of the same.
After the discussion, the house was open for the question/ answer session wherein topics such as 'social conditioning', 'views on the role of technology and communication' etc. were discussed. The students showed keen interest and seemed motivated towards the end of the session. The Vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Sayani Saha, Professor In-charge of XCMS.
