Xavecos hosts debate competition

Xavecos, the Economics society of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata organised an intra- departmental debate competition on August 30, 2024 at the university campus.
Rev. Dr. John Felix Raj, S.J., Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SXUK delivered the inaugural speech.
Students from the undergraduate and postgraduate sections of the Department of Economics participated in the event. Each speaker was allotted three minutes to speak on the topic.
Shinjini Banerjee, a postgraduate student of first semester and Sounak Halder, an undergraduate student of third semester emerged as best speakers for the motion and against the motion, respectively.
