SXUK celebrates Shikshak Parv-2022

St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK) celebrated the Shikshak Parv-2022 on September 5, the day which is celebrated as Teachers Day across the country to commemorate the birthday of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice-President of India.
Rev Fr. Dr. John Felix Raj, S.J., Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SXUK delivered the inaugural address. He discussed the role of teachers in building the base of the society. The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. Kanika Chatterjee, former IQAC Director, University of Calcutta, who delivered a lecture on the ‘Role of Teachers as envisaged in NEP 2020’. The programme concluded with an interactive session.
