As the entire world is all set to celebrate the Holy Christmas vacation soon, St. Xavier’s University Kolkata Alumni Association (SXUKAA) equally organised a Christmas get-together for the faculty and staff members of the University on December 20, 2022 in the campus.

Rev. Fr. John Felix Raj, S.J., Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata and President, SXUKAA greeted everyone and delivered his Christmas message. “Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ; an occasion of hope, joy, love and peace. I wish all of you get your dreams fulfilled in this auspicious period,” he said.

Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University and Dr. N.K. Chakrabarti, Vice Chancellor of West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences were invited as guests and they equally shared their Christmas message to the present audience.

Father Raj was felicitated by Vatsal Chirimar, Hony Secretary, SXUKAA. Audience entertained carols, sung by a few faculty members and staff of SXUK. The spirit of Christmas was celebrated and shared among the Xaverian family members.
