The festival is over, still the festive spirit is on! The festival of light was celebrated with great pomp and ceremony as St. Xavier’s University Kolkata Alumni Association (SXUKAA) celebrated the ‘Diwali Milan 2022’ in the University campus on October 29, 2022 with a bunch of young Xaverian graduates.

All the Jesuit Fathers of the SXUK Jesuit community attended the celebration. The programme began with Rev. Fr. John Felix Raj, SJ, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and President, SXUKAA leading everyone in prayer and lighting the ceremonial lamp. Fr. Raj also conveyed the Deepawali greetings to all alumni members. He wished that every Xaverian should spread the light of knowledge across their surroundings for a better tomorrow.

It was an occasion for the members to meet and greet each other and spend some time together during the festive season at their alma mater. A musical program was also put up by some alumni/ae on the occasion.
