Special Lecture on Transfer Pricing for M.Com Students
Faculty of Commerce & Management (Morning Section) organized a special lecture titled “Transfer Pricing in Practice: An Overview with Contemporary Perspectives” for its postgraduate students on February 26, 2026 at the university campus.
The resource person was Jayeeta Pal, Director at Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP and a seasoned industry professional. Pal provided insights into several key aspects of transfer pricing, including its global origins, tax residency, Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs), Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
The lecture was marked by lively interaction and engaging discussions through real-life examples, making the session accessible and informative for postgraduate commerce students.
Students also expressed interest in learning about career prospects in the taxation and consulting industry, as well as the preparation required to succeed in the field.
