XAVPSYCH, the Psychology Society of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK), in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, hosted its annual intercollegiate fest PSYNERGY’26 on March 21, 2026 at the university campus.

Designed to promote academic engagement, creativity, and collaboration, the fest provided a dynamic platform for psychology enthusiasts to showcase their knowledge and skills.

150 Students from more than 15 colleges participated in the event. The impressive turnout highlighted the growing academic curiosity in psychology and the spirit of inter-institutional exchange. A panel of esteemed faculty members and invited experts evaluated the events, assessing participants on originality, conceptual clarity, presentation skills, and applied understanding of psychological theories.

The fest featured a diverse range of competitions—including quizzes, debates, Case Carousel, and PsychTank—organised under the overarching theme “Psych-Carnival.” The interactive events seamlessly blended academic rigour with creativity, offering students the opportunity to explore psychological concepts beyond the traditional classroom setting.
