On July 23, 2025, St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, and Antara Institute of Health Sciences formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. The MoU was signed by Father Dr. Xavier Jeyaraj, Registrar of SXUK, and Dr. Mathew P. John, Director of Antara Institute of Health Sciences, in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Fr. Felix Raj, SJ, and representatives from both institutions.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering academic cooperation between the two institutions. With a shared commitment to addressing pressing issues such as mental health among young adults, they plan to develop joint courses for students in the near future.

Fr. Felix Raj stated, “Antara is widely recognized as a leading mental health institution in the region, providing trusted psychiatric services. Our collaboration will yield mutual benefits for both institutions.”
