Dept of Computer Science hosts session on data and analytics in AI era

Department of Computer Science of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK) organised an offline session on “Data and Analytics: Trends and Opportunities in the AI era” on September 4, 2025 at the university campus.
The session was conducted by Mr. Saurabh Mukherjee, Head of Data-AI Practice, Accenture. 60 students attended the programme. Faculty members of the department were also present.
The session was successful in enhancing students’ understanding of the role of data in analytics and demonstrated the real-world application of statistical and analytical tools. Participants found the session highly enriching.
