St. Xavier's University, Kolkata (SXUK) is set to introduce an AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS) solution, transforming the teaching-learning process and aligning with the modern education paradigm. This initiative makes SXUK one of the first universities in Eastern India to adopt such a solution, furthering its ambitious 'Vision 2030' goal of reaching 10,000 enrollments in the coming years. Currently the faculty members and staff are undergoing orientations on the system. To ensure a seamless transition, faculty members and staff are currently undergoing orientation on the new system, which was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Father Felix Raj on December 16, 2024.

The university has partnered with UK-based Shiksak, specialists in AI-powered LMS solutions for K12, higher education, and corporate training. Their platform simplifies teaching and learning processes while providing valuable data insights, empowering institutions to deliver exceptional educational experiences.

This project marks a significant milestone in SXUK's commitment to providing holistic and future-ready education; ensuring students are well-prepared for future challenges. The AI-powered LMS platform will provide SXUK with tools for assignment management, online testing, and content management, allowing educators to focus on student success.

The system's intuitive content creation capabilities enable the development of interactive multimedia content, fostering a more engaging and effective learning journey for students. By leveraging Shiksak's AI capabilities, SXUK will personalize educational experiences tailored to individual learning styles and generate data-driven insights to improve academic outcomes.

This transformative approach is expected to significantly enhance student engagement and solidify SXUK's position as a leader in personalized education in the region.
