70TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDIAN CONSTITUTION

On 26th November 2019, Xavier Law School organised an event in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Constitution Day, between 1600 and 1700 hrs, at the Aruppe Building Auditorium. Honourable Vice-Chancellor Rev. Fr. Dr. J. Felix Raj, S.J., delivered the inaugural speech, while Honourable Registrar Prof. Ashis Mitra administered to all gathered a pledge on the Preamble to the Constitution of India.
The event was graced by Prof. Mahesh Menon and Prof. Agnidipto Tarafder, members of the faculty at The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, who shared their erudite insights on the persistent impact this day continues to have on the life of the nation and its democracy.
