About Classroom Corporates
Classroom Corporates as the name suggests means bringing the corporate environment to the four walls of a classroom. It aims at providing an opportunity to the young minds to experience the life of a corporate in a simulated environment. Through corporate classroom, we aspire to help the college students identify and enhance their basic analytical as well as social skills.
Classroom Corporates 1.0 – Kolkata Chapter
Xavier Business School has organized Classroom Corporates 1.0 on February 5, 2020 in St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. The one-day event was an insight into MBA life for undergraduate college students from across the city of joy. Students from many colleges of Kolkata have attended the programme. Dr. Soma Sur, Dean, Xavier Business School delivered the welcome address. The event commenced with a panel discussion on ‘Gen Z in Corporate' moderated by Mr. Abhirup Banerjee, a motivational speaker. The other panelists included Mr. Aji Mathew, CEO and Co-Founder of Indus Net TechShu, Mr. Ranodeep Saha, Co-Founder of Rare Planet Handicrafts Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Jimmy Tangree, Head of 91.9 Friends FM. The Panel Discussion was followed by a series of Management Games for the students to test their business acumen across various corporate domains.
Classroom Corporates 1.0 – Burdwan Chapter
Xavier Business School in association with St. Xavier's College, Burdwan has organized "Classroom Corporates"- Burdwan Chapter on 29th February, 2020 in St. Xavier's College, Burdwan.
The day commenced with a panel discussion, the topic for the same being "Generation Z in Corporates". The panellists included eminent corporate personalities from both Kolkata and Burdwan.
The discussion was followed by a series of Management Games representing the domains of Marketing (MADVERTISE) and Finance (BID TO BUILD) respectively.
Classroom Corporates 1.0 – North Bengal Chapter
Xavier Business School, Kolkata in collaboration with North Bengal St. Xavier's College organized "Classroom Corporates", North Bengal Chapter on 6th & 7th March in North Bengal St. Xavier's College, Rajganj & Siliguri Campus respectively.
The program commenced with lighting of lamp, principal’s speech followed by a panel discussion on the topic "Generation Z in Corporates". The panellists included eminent personalities from North Bengal.
The discussion was followed by a series of Management Games representing the domains of Marketing and Finance for the students of North Bengal SXC and other colleges of Siliguri.
The two days long event was a great platform of learning for the undergraduate college students of North Bengal and they haven’t failed to impress the team of classroom corporates with their excellent analytical skills and creativity.
