Between 2017 and 2019, an impressive number of our students secured internships with leading organisations such as Millenium Post, Echo of India, The Hope Foundation, SAGE Publications, and Business Economics. These internships provided invaluable real-world exposure, enabling students to apply their academic training to media, research, publishing, and social development sectors.
From 2019 to 2025, the department has continued its upward trajectory with an outstanding record of campus placements. Year after year, our students have been recruited by top-tier companies including Cognizant, IBM, TCS, Myntra, Nerdy Turtlez, along with a growing list of distinguished national and international organisations. The landmark 2019 placement drive, which saw 45% of students securing coveted offers, set the tone for successive years of consistent placement success.

Students have completed internships in a wide range of reputable organisations, including Alliance Française du Bengale, Airports Authority of India – NSCBI Kolkata Airport, ABP Media House, TV9 Bangla, AVPN Asia, Vivekananda Mission High School, Orient Blackswan, Birla Academy of Art and Culture, and the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
