Placements

Xavier Law School attempts to help each student in exploring placement opportunities by inviting various companies for campus recruitment of students, who are on the verge of completion of their B.A.LL.B. (Honours) / B.Com.LL.B. (Honours) courses. The final placements are a result of very systematic interaction with the industry and continuous career counseling of the students. Right from the beginning of the programme, students are continuously counseled with regard to his/her career aspirations and options, which in turn is vigorously followed up with the potential companies for participating in the placement programme of the Institute.

A Placement Committee of the Law School is constituted in the 8th Semester every year comprising teachers and students. The students of the batch are required to register themselves for placement assistance to be provided by the Placement Committee in collaboration with Placement Cell of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Various programs are organized to groom the students before the placement process with the help of industry experts.

Xavier Law School has organized a placement drive for the students of the first graduating batch (2019-24) by various reputed law firms and companies such as Fox & Mandal, R. Ginodia & Co., Rashmi Group and S. K. Lath & Co. 8 students have already received offers from different law firms and companies, with the highest package offered at Rs. 6 lacs per annum.
