Internship and placement- Batch of 2022-2024

The M.Sc. Statistics for the 2022-2024 batch at the St. Xavier’s University Kolkata has seen remarkable engagement from its students in placement and internships across esteemed organizations. An impressive 67% of the students successfully secured job opportunities. Further 100% internship rate signifies the effectiveness of the M.Sc. Statistics curriculum in preparing students for real-world analytic challenges for today’s world of information and data. The students have been placed in reputed companies like PWC, IMRB Kantar and Inference Inc. Placement drive is still in the process and recruiters like TCS will shortly visit the Department. The students gained academic as well as industry experience as interns in institutes of repute like Indian Statistical Institute, University of Calcutta, Newtown Kolkata Development Authority and Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute.
